Tigers at ‘ Tiger Temple , Thailand‘ . Monks take very good care ,of tigers, love them, feed them well. Visitors are allowed to play with the tigers and their cubs.. Big cats are fully chained, and visitors are provided with good security.
Do these tigers, away from their habitat, enjoy it all, all surrounded by walls, iron gates and chained ? Don’t they miss open forests, freedom, thrill of hunting, joy of living freely , without being watched all the time? Is it not FOREIGN to them?
Weekly Image of Life: Celebration
The tenth day of the Hindu lunar month of Ashwin is celebrated as Vijaya Dashami or Dussehra. It marks the end of the Maha Navratri or the nine days of Durga Puja. The day is basically the celebration of the victory of the Mother Goddess over evil demons named Shumbh and Nishumbh. So it is a celebration of righteousness over evil and according to legends the day is marked by several other such victories of good and other factors.
Hindus celebrate this festival worldwide by observing social gatherings and offering sweets and gifts to relatives, friends and neighbours. The festivity also marks the beginning of the harvest season and prayers are said and rituals are observed to invoke blessings from Mother Earth for a good harvest, peace and prosperity to all. sometimes a gesture of someone
starts the introspection
someone inside you asks,
did you try hard for your success
or to get what you did dream
or get tired and gave in midway
or blamed your stars
or cursed your luck
and let your dreams shatter away.
Hope you are the lucky one who can say
I gave my 100 percent
tried my best
and never faltered away.

What are your reasons for smiling everyday ? Who gives you the most wonderful smile that takes away all you worries, aches and pain?Whose smile gave you the inspiration to reach for your star and follow your dream?
These are the question posted by ‘The Island Traveler’ in his post -weekly Image Of Life .
While searching for why we smile, I found a very good article which I would like to share with all my friends, pics. there are wonderful.
I think we smile to show our appreciation, acceptance and affection always.Smiling faces of our parents, children, friends and relatives all give us inspiration and takes away our worries, aches and pain. Few people who are egoist, are arrogant, who take life too seriously never smile. Most genuine smile is that which reaches ones eyes.
Music is life, music is therapy,
Music can make every one happy,
Music can drive woes away,
Music can drive illness away,
If you don’t believe me,
and need some proof,
just ask my buddies,
dear meow and woof.
sing, sing , sing all the day
sing, sing, sing all the way
Sing in the day sing in the night
sing in the darkness sing in the light
sing when you are sad sing when you are happy
sing when your mood is snappy
singing just not drives ills away
singing drives the sorrows away
sing when alone, sing when together
sing when it is good or bad weather
sing in fright sing in delight,
sing songs together and never ever fight
Sharing is caring *
Caring then leads to friendship

This is one my favorite paintings. The Floor Scrapers by Gustave Caillebotte. Not only that I don’t know why I like it so much, but I can’t even find a message behind the painting. I can’t dissect it the way that I like to do with other paintings.
It’s just beautiful.
