My daughter left her doll for me after her marriage. Now she is like mine grand-daughter to me. I’m very possessive about her. She is with me for more than 30 years. I can’t imagine life without her, I’m so attached to her. She is like a part of me.

I like your entry!
I bet it’s your best friend too
The way you took yout picture makes it timeless… Like it’s yours forever!
Well done!
Thanks, she is my best friend indeed. thanks for your lovely comment.
Isn’t it so much fun to have parts of others’ lives for so long a time?
I live in my late grandmother’s home and a lot of her things are still here.
I am told I should get rid of it and de-mess the place, but I like having it around.
I will do it a little at a time, but I am never getting rid of all of it.
It feels too much like home this way.
Scott
What a nice way to put your thoughts, thanks, yes these old things make your home alive as every thing has a story attached to it.
Oh Indira, that is so sweet. I have a little stuffed toy horse from my daughter’s childhood.
Hi Veronica its so nice to have these things around you, they bring back so many memories. Thanks.
