Weekly Photo Challenge: Foreign
Tigers at ‘ Tiger Temple , Thailand‘ . Monks take very good care ,of tigers, love them, feed them well. Visitors are allowed to play with the tigers and their cubs.. Big cats are fully chained, and visitors are provided with good security.
Do these tigers, away from their habitat, enjoy it all, all surrounded by walls, iron gates and chained ? Don’t they miss open forests, freedom, thrill of hunting, joy of living freely , without being watched all the time? Is it not FOREIGN to them?

LOVE TIGERS!
They are so serene and majestic even if they really big pussies!
Love & peace!
Yes Gita they are majestic indeed. Thanks for your visit.
MY PLEASURE!
Love & peace!
These are amazing shots… I wouldn’t go near those tigers; even chained.
LOL, my son says its very safe. Cubs are really cute and loveable.
I hope so…
I have mixed emotions about animals kept in captivity. On the one hand it keeps them from going extinct and on the other is it better to be in prision or take the chance of fighting for our life being free. They are indeed very beautiful!
You are right. Just give them big space to roam freely, like reserve forest. Not only tigers but other animals also when confined to small space in the zoo, pains me. I also have mixed emotion like you. Thanks for your visit.
Hello! Thank you for the nice visit. I wish a successful new week!
Hello! your autumn photographs are fabulous. Wish a successful new week to you too.
I don’t know if they like it or not. I doubt they did in the beginning, but, like losing my job and having to live with my disability, we learn to deal with things differently if we love life.

From tiger’s point of view, I don’t think they like it at all, but when one is forced to live like that they have no choice. We humane beings learn to live because we have so many other options to choose from. You can do other things which you were not able to do previously. Have a good day.
I see your point. Well spoken,
Scott
those cats are huge
They should be left in the wild.
Yes or at least in the reserved forest with lot of space for them.
What majestic animals, Indira. It’s sad to see them in captivity, but maybe it’s for conservation.
May be its so. Just felt sorry seeing them chained. They are really majestic.
