Happy Mothers Day to All Mothers

The best relation between a mother and a child is friendship.

1- There is only one pretty child in the world, and every mother has it.

Vastness, calmness and serenity of the sea, joyous dance of   waves , cool breeze on the face ,smell of salt water,  it’s a bliss to live nearby the sea.

Prompts for the Promptless – Ep. 6 – Counterintuition

Prompts for the Promptless – Ep. 6 – Counterintuition

Counterintutition is a seemingly simple concept– it represents a truth that is contrary to common sense or the expectations of intuition.
Some examples of counterintuitive situations: You burn calories when you’re sleeping, flailing around is exactly the wrong thing to do when drowning, and beautifully speckled dart frogs can be poisonous to the touch.

Now my take on it- I have come across so many counterintuitive phrases, it surprises me that even after being proved wrong they are still in use. Here is a list-

1- Practice makes a man perfect but  no body is perfect.

2- Men are more intelligent, powerful, entrepreneur etc. etc. etc. than women, and we all know the truth.

3-  Men are distracted by how a woman dress , especially in some of Asian countries they are forced to put veils, otherwise they are so pure and innocent.

4-  Women are weaker sex whereas  , everybody knows who needs all those medicines.

5-  Crocodile’s tears , they are not at all unhappy while eating but shed tears.

6- People with different views or different species can not get along

There are so many about food or exercises,  I can go on and on but I think I should make it small and simple.

The Tea Ceremony

Paulo Coelho

In Japan, I took part in a tea ceremony. You go into a small room, tea is served, and that’s it really, except that everything is done with so much ritual and ceremony that a banal daily event is transformed into a moment of communion with the universe.

The tea master, Okakura Kakuzo, explains what happens:

“Tea ceremony is a way of worshiping the beautiful and the simple. All one’s efforts are concentrated on trying to achieve perfection through the imperfect gestures of daily life. Its beauty consists in the respect with which it is performed. If a mere cup of tea can bring us closer to God, we should watch out for all the other dozens of opportunities that each ordinary day offers us.”

“there is no trouble so great or grave that cannot be much diminished by a nice cup of tea.”

bernard-paul heroux

“I am not at all interested in immortality, only in the taste of tea.”

Lao-Tzu
