Prompts for the Promptless – Ep. 5 – Meraki
Meraki [may-rah-kee] This is a word that modern Greeks often use to describe doing something with soul, creativity, or love — when you put “something of yourself” into what you’re doing, whatever it may be.

I think whatever I do, I do with Meraki or I don’t do it. Be it cooking, sketching, writing, photography, or any household work. I just didn’t know the exact word to describe it. Thanks to Rarasaur I have learned a new word for it.

She has asked to write a List 5 things you always do with Meraki, here are they-

1- I always say sorry and thank you with Meraki.

2- I love my family, friends, and everyone with Meraki, and when I hate dishonesty, violence, lies, etc? yes,  that too with Meraki

3- I write my blog with Meraki.

4- I like, appreciate, and comment on others’ post sincerely, with Meraki.

5- I love life and have lived with Meraki and I’ll embrace death with Meraki. ( Wow sounds very romantic no?)

Any task we do not do with Meraki lacks something, seems incomplete, and lefts a taste of dissatisfaction in us. Whereas whatever you do with

soul, creativity, or love, will fulfill you with joy and satisfaction.

  3. What a wonderful representation of meraki! I love that you apologize and give thanks with meraki– more people should, it’s the meraki in those gestures that make them worthwhile. Beautiful post! 😀

  6. Beautiful pictures. I am thinking I would watch carefully that tiger on the right. He is not drinking, but is watching very intently.
