The Daily Post- Work? Optional! Work is Worship.

The Daily Post- Work? Optional!– If money were out of the equation, would you still work? If yes, why, and how much? If not, what would you do with your free time?

If we can get everything free there is obviously no need to go out to work but can anyone live without work?

Life will become very boring without work. Moreover one can’t live without work. Nature has endowed every creature in this world with such a wonderful machine that it needs feeding, cleaning, keeping warm or cold according to seasons,  needs shelter, comforts and there are so many necessities that we can’t survive with just lazing around.

I cannot live without work, I love to eat only what I have earned so I do all my household work though we are retired; we get a pension and can get all work done by paying to maidservants, we can’t live without working. Cooking, taking rest, watching TV, reading a book, writing a post, exercise, all are part of my daily routine so there is nothing called free time in our life, even sleeping is a part of work required to keep our body fit. I would like to work till the last day of my life even if I get all the money of the world.

It is true that empty mind is the workshop of the devil and to avoid this and make mind workshop of God we believe in work is worship.

About Indira

I knew all along that life is about, love, compassion, compatibility and friendship, but now I have discovered that life is also about sharing the thoughts, encouraging others and getting encouraged. So here I am with my blogs about life, friendship, love, and whatever life has taught me.

  1. What you have said is so true, it is the same with me. My father in law is 89, he lives in the village, even now he goes to his areca garden to pick areca or to pluck cocoa, he says he wants to work till the end. I admire him for his zeal and so much more.
