Daily prompt- Pains and Gains– Do you agree with Jane Fonda’s favorite exercise motto, “no pain, no gain?” Is it impossible to attain greatness without considerable hardship?
” Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.”
I totally agree with Jane Fonda as I truly believe that nothing comes without hard work even if one is born with a silver spoon in mouth , it may give one lot of comforts, privileges and opportunities which may help one to become great in any one particular field such as, science, music, dance etc.etc.
But,
Is having name, fame money and power greatness?
Or there is something else which makes people great.
Some wise men say that one is great if one does not gives into six enemies, lust, envy, pride, anger, greed and illusion.
This type of greatness may not need physical pain or hard work but requires very strong mind and hard discipline as it is not easy to control one’s mind to conquer these enemies and become real great person.
