Blogging 101,Day Nine- Get inspired from the neighbor

I was going through Friday Fictioneers hosted by- https://rochellewisofffields.wordpress.com for 100 words fiction stories.  I was inspired by lingeringvisions, and taking a cue from her I wrote this story.

Friday Fictioneers: What Race are You? “I am Green” said the Moth.

End of Dispute

The green moth was  hurt, ‘What do you mean by which race?’ aren’t we both moths.’

The other one said-‘ No, Everyone has a race to be proud of.’

Seeing the moths fighting to prove their superiority,

the on looking bird intervened.

‘Stop fighting you two morons!

A moth is a moth is a moth.

Colour or race makes no difference.’

‘Sit side by side and let me inspect closely and decide which one is from a better race.

They did.

The bird gobbled them up, smacked its beak and said ‘ you both are fools but delicious, no doubt.’

  5. Oh my! That makes me laugh! So the point would be stop fighting about inconsequential things and do something about the real issue! Like the bird looking for dinner!

The bird made a good feast of the moths trying to prove their superiority. This post drives home a good message.

  11. That’s the perfect sequel for Dawn’s story. If we all don’t get over our stupidity, we get swallowed.

  12. Dear Indira,

A clever parable for people today. We’re all fools.😉

  14. Really good analogy. We could all learn a lesson from the moth story but the cynic in me says that not many of us will. Glad you were inspired by Dawn as I don’t think the message can be given often enough.
