REGRET
In everyone’s life, there are bound to be some moments which one wishes one could have rectified.
Why do we regret it? When we have taken wrong decisions, we have put our faith in the wrong person or we help people with expectations?
I too have taken lots of decisions which I regret. Given a magic wand, I would have rectified a few of them.
But then I think what the use of crying over split milk. What’s done is done. I try taking it as a lesson to learn and not to repeat it. Also, people say that everything happens for a cause. So I wait patiently and try to see them better, the positive side of it and what does it want to teach me.
One thing is certain, I don’t regret failure for two reasons.
1- I truly believe in what someone said ‘ You are not a failure till you blame others for your mistakes.’ I take full responsibility for my decisions.
2-I believe that if you get what you want it is good but if you don’t get it it’s better. Maybe something better is waiting for you.
One thing is sure my failures have made me a stronger, more focused, and confident person.
So now I just remember them and smile and thank them perhaps they came for the same reason.
I like the message of this post 🙂
Would you mind me proofreading for typos?
In the first sentence ‘it’ is not necessary after rectify.
In the split milk –milk is missing k.
Its better should be it’s better 🙂
Love and light ❤
