Writing 101, day 4: A story in a single image

Preference

She had no other choice but to enter the woods.

There were four goons chasing her. In her haste to run away from them to a safe place she took the wrong turn and came near the woods.

Now if she goes back they will catch her and what they would do to her, the very thought was very scary.

She thought that even if there are wild animals in the woods they will kill and eat her if they are hungry. They were not like human beings who kill for joy. Some people get pleasure in being cruel to others, by terrorizing others, killing, raping, or other heinous crimes.

After much thinking, she decided that though there is a very slight but still prospect of survival. She preferred the company of animals over human beings and entered the woods.
