Flower of the Day – January 17, 2016 – Tulip
https://www.shantitea.ca/stblog/article/st/1884/hibiscus-a-myth-of-sweetness
Hibiscus Flowers where ever I look,
Reds and blues and the pretty white,
Freshly taken from a picture book,
They fill me with great delight.
Indoor Hibiscus Flowers delicate yellow,
Potted plants in my snug flat,
Great beauty that turns me mellow,
To all Gardeners, I take off my hat.
The hibiscus is a flower to please,
Grown in a warm and temperate clime.
Reds, blues, and whites do tease,
With glowing colors so sublime.
I like your poem. I was inspired to write a poem by the hibiscus bush outside my kitchen window this morning. They are glorious flowers.

I didn’t know that. Maybe I should be harvesting the flowers here. Do you know what they are good for?

Hibiscus is a flower that is rich in antioxidants. That is why having hibiscus tea or extracts is a naturally preventive measure against cancer.
It is good for hair also.
