Mother’s Diary
How time flies by
Children are grown up and gone on their journey
I’m determined not to complain
There is so much to do
Wait for their yearly visit
Or visit past
Beautiful memories of
Four soft hands clutching my hands
Sparkle in their eyes
Vying for my attention
Their laughter filled my whole universe
Their schooling, their grooming, was all I cared for
Then with age, their list of friends started increasing
They started spending more time with friends than with me
At first, I craved more of their time
Then, accepted
It’s all part of life
Sooner you accept
Happier you are
~ Indira
I am at a similar stage and have ambiguous feelings about the children flyng the nest. Life flows on!

Dear Indira,
This hit home with me. Where did that time go? I remember each delivery and baby as if it were yesterday and they’re all men now with lives of their own. Well done.

Rochelle
