A Month of Mini Writing Challenges 2017-Day 23
Write a poem about an alien. Any length.
Limerick- An Alien
“You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.”
A journey of expression and compassion
poetry and short stories
A Journey of Spiritual Significance
Love thyself for it's the only cure!
Speaking in a hundred silent ways
Myriad memories frozen in time
“Never forget that once upon a time, in an unguarded moment, you recognized yourself as a friend.” - E. Gilbert
All about self realisation, paranormal, dream interpretation and more
Life in Copenhagen, Denmark, after moving during Covid-19.
Nensi patel
Words to Encourage, Inspire & Empower
It's just banter
See Miracles In Life Everyday
My Psychological and Spiritual Odyssey!
जो हमपे गुज़री सो गुज़री मगर शब-ए-हिज्राँ हमारे अश्क तेरी आक़बत सँवार चले
अभिव्यक्ति

Like your limerick quite a lot
Sticking closely to the plot
Aliens here cannot be
Live to far away you see
I’m sure you knew but forgot
A point of interest, 1 light year equals 5.9 trillion miles, so if the nearest planet capable of sustaining intelligent life was only that distance away they would have travel at the speed of light, (299,792,458 miles per second) and even at that speed it would take them 12 months to reach earth.
For the record, I am not saying we are the only intelligent life in the universe, just that if there are, they live to far away to even contemplate visiting planet earth.

Thanks for your very interesting comment. Seems reasonable enough. Loved the Haiku.

A limerick, in reply to your brilliant one.
The for the record bit was in case anybody thought I did not believe that they could exist.
