Write a story in less than 100 words that open with, “There once was a castle…”
There once was a castle, standing in its full glory serving its masters, witnessing many battles. Masters came and gone, seasons came and gone but it was unaffected hiding in its womb many secrets about its masters like a loyal servant.
It witnessed hanging and burning of people in the pretext of practicing witchcraft till one queen ended all this.
Some believed witchcraft was an important religious, cultural as well as political issue and for vendetta or greed at local and national level.
The castle must have felt ashamed for the cruelty of its masters.
