Reena’s Exploration Challenge #89
sad, depressed, heart-broken
wandering along the seashore
calm, cool, soothing water
invites
I take a dip in the sea
water tastes like my tears
waves caress, wash traces of tears
whisper in my ear ‘don’t break down or bow out
be like us
carefree and courageous’
I surrender-
Floating with the waves
Time stands still to watch
Winds sing lullaby
That’s excellently done.

I like the irony in this –
water tastes like my tears
waves caress, wash traces of tears
salinity washing off salt.
