When 20 years old woman is thrown to the wolves with a 10-month-old daughter by in-laws as well as a mother what in your imagination would she do?
Run to get shelter at any cost, isn’t it?
But no this brave woman driven by hunger started singing on local trains.
But what to do at night, where to go?
She was afraid of the man so she discovered one place, where everyone goes after death only.he would hide there at night. If by chance anyone saw her, he would fly away taking her as a ghost.
The food she could get she shared with other beggars living on the railway platform.
Being abandoned she understood how it feels and made it a mission to adopt children she found anywhere.
It started with adopting one then numbers increased.
She begged for them.
Made them feel loved and wanted.
Brought them in the light from the darkness of condemnation.
Showered their love along with her daughter.
Gave them a bright future, a purpose to live.
Now she runs an ashram with about 1200 children with her daughter successfully.
She has won the Mother Teresa award and many more.
She recalls why she forgave her husband who attended an award ceremony.
‘If he hadn’t thrown her away she wouldn’t have been able to help so many children…’

I knew all along that life is about, love, compassion, compatibility and friendship, but now I have discovered that life is also about sharing the thoughts, encouraging others and getting encouraged. So here I am with my blogs about life, friendship, love, and whatever life has taught me.
I remember her saying that it was because her daughter gave up her ‘exclusive rights’ to the mother, she could help many more. Sindhutai Sapkal is a living legend.
I wonder what goes through the mind of her ex-husband, when he sees her being recognized.
She told him that come with me not as a husband, I don’t need one but as a son…Such a strong minded person. Otheres might have broken down. Watching on KBC, I really cried somany times. Also feeling guilty that in spite of so many oppertunities…
A heart touching story that ripples outward. It’s funny how life works sometimes. Such a horrible thing turned into a blessing that helps so many. Thank you for sharing Sindhutai’s story ❤
That is so inspiring. Thank you for the share.

I understand. Some people make us see value in our own unrealized potential.
