polluting
scarry
lying low
waiting for a chance
when the immunity is low
to
stealthily
attack
like a deadly virus
is there a 
way
to be immune to them
or
to put them in

quarantine 

forever

  4. I like the emotion in your poem and the searching for a way to get rid of the toxic thoughts. I like to look at them as a street with a gigantic pothole in it. If you know that street has the pothole, take a different path. You can reprogram your mind to avoid those streets. It feels awkward at first, but…
