The above statue is known by the name BEACON OF HOPE or THANKSGIVING SQUARE BEACON, in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
It’s a steel art measuring 19.5 m (64 ft). The lady is holding a ring called ‘Beacon of Hope’
The idea is to give some public space for giving thanks.
How best we are using our body, talent and our ability to financially help the needy?
None of us has the time, energy, inclination to help the needy.
We all come with a standard excuse that these needy people are cheats, thieves and drug addicts.
