We have a situation prompt this week
You wake up to discover a completely different, unknown face staring back at you from the mirror.
so engrossed in my
daily routines
never felt the change
suddenly
one day
I wake up to discover
an unknown face
where is that happy-go-lucky woman
full of jest for life
when did
I change so much
now full of
stamps of time
numerous lines and wrinkles
each one telling a story
story of a long journey
each wrinkle
tells
how many battles fought
how many won
how many
lost
Seventy-five years…
Not a short time
Sharing Thoughts 
You’ve done a great job with the prompt. We tend to think of ourself as the way we were at our prime and when we suddenly take a close look at the mirror image we are often shocked at the change age has brought.
