For the visually challenged reader, this image shows a shot of a mantel shelf. There are a few photos and plants on the top and the place where there’s a fireplace is crammed full of books of various sizes.
Books borrowed never came back.
Some denied even taking them
Was it my fault to believe in sharing is caring?
What a fool I was.
Now faith is shattered, I hide new purchases from everyone.
It’s better to be considered not caring.
Or I’m wrong again?
Friendship returns with
The return of borrowed books
A pleasant surprise
“Books were my companion, my teacher, my solace. They taught me about the mysteries of love and life.”

It is always best to try and be met with negativity, than to not try at all. You never know what kindness you have given without knowing or recieving it back.

It actually happened with my mom. After her death, many returned her books. A lovely lesson on friendships.
