“The two hardest tests on the spiritual road are the patience to wait for the right moment and the courage not to be disappointed with what we encounter.” Paulo Coelho

Trees/ Bonsai

Posted on

According to Japanese tradition, the bonsai represents the three virtues or shin-zen-bi, which translates into truth, goodness and beauty.

Bonsai trees symbolize harmony, honor, patience and happiness. They are the perfect addition to a relaxing environment.

Many people associate bonsai trees with inner peace, serenity and contentment, and while its true that most of the people who successfully rear bonsais have these qualities they are earned over time.

Unknown quotes

Some people come into our lives, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never the same.

C for Cyclone- Cyclone Hudhud

Deadly Tropical Cyclone Hudhud Strikes India on October 12

Hudhud was the equivalent of a strong Category 3 hurricane with winds sustained at 200 kph (125 mph) before making landfall on Sunday morning near Visakhapatnam.

Hudhud caused extensive damage to the city of Visakhapatnam and the neighboring districts .

Visakhapatnam is now bereaved of its greenery. 80% trees are uprooted except coconut and palm trees . We were confined to our flat for six days without electricity and drinking water. I could not go out and take pictures as lift was not working.

Now Visakhapatnam does not looks like  the photos i have posted before of lush green city and Vuda park.  Its impact was more drastic on the lives of the poor, the slum dwellers and fishing villages along the coast.
