Friday Fiction Challenge hosted by Rochelle Wisoff
Parents
What we couldn’t afford in childhood, so we wanted to give every opportunity to our children to pursue their hobby.
They said music, we ran for the musical instruments.
They showed interest in DIY, we hurried for the toolkit.
They said computer we bought it.
They said world trotting; we were ready with the globe and maps.
Our son joined navy at 18 and daughter got married as soon as she finished studies.
We were left with all the items to look after.
Don’t have the heart to sell them.
Just have a good laugh when we are all together.
