Five Sentence Fiction – Marriage
Marriage was never in her priority list as there was so much more to do; a bright future was looking ahead for her.
Then came a marriage proposal, which made her forget all about her future plans and she agreed to marry.
Post marriage her life was confined to just family, household chores, boring neighborhood parties, and family functions.
She didn’t repent but wondered, could life be better than this, wasn’t she missing something.
What to do, she just followed the wise man who said ‘ marriage is that fruit which you repent if you eat but you repent more if you don’t eat.’
