Prompt#270- we have a picture prompt to bring out the glory of colors. It’s up to you to bring out the glory of women with your prose, poetry, art, tribute, memory, or anything that inspires you.
TOUCH-UP
Life is like a painting
even if you make a masterpiece
you can't sit idle
you can't take it for granted
you always have to be vigilant
to touch-up
wherever the color fades

VISION
Life was like
A never-ending trail in the desert
Colorless
You came up with a palette full of vibrant colors
To fill my world
With colors of
Love and friendship
Dreams and hopes
I'm overwhelmed but
I fear
Your hope of evoking a sense of colors in me is futile
I wonder
Whether
Just painting light into my eyes
Will give me the vision
Every new years
Promises
New dawnings
Every year
Heart fill with
Hope
Excitement
Joy
Let me enjoy
Without being skeptical
Till someone
Pricks the balloon
Again
Our prompt this week has the potential to cover more than the written word. Think images, computer art, paints and brushes or a camera lens. Words are not going anywhere though, because that is what we are talking about.
Let it be a theme for the week’s writings. It may not necessarily be about privacy, but the various illusions we live under, and which actually make life bearable. Knowing too much would debilitate our sense of individualism, independence, achievement, or glory. It is actually a happy bubble we live in.
( for someone who ended his life, he might have been desperate but what about his father and sisters and all relatives and friends, who were very proud of him)
