Enchant Your Everyday: A Month of Loving the World

Day 17- Poem

enchanting my day

by keeping grief at bay

but it comes back
again and again
to remind me
I’m also a part of your life
Don’t try to hide
or run away
face me
accept me
and I’ll become your friend
giving you strength
to fight
to bear
to understand that
nothing ever stays long
grief or happiness
everything shall pass
I’ll also pass by
leaving
days of happiness

Brainwashed

He entered the biggest shopping mall of the town, he was looking epitome of courage, strength, and vigor but all diverted in the wrong path by .his mentors who brainwashed him into believing that all people who were from different religion, different ideology, believe in comfort and enjoyment were sinner and he will go to heaven by eliminating as much of them as possible.

He looked around cautiously satisfied himself that no one is taking any notice of him, and are busy in their own entertainment, shopping, and /or loitering around.

At first, he hesitated, this was the life he himself would have enjoyed but then remembered about his mission moreover he could not go back now, death was awaiting him either way.

Sometimes he thought of asking his mentors, why they themselves did not accomplish the mission and go to heaven but who he was to ask them when they have paid a hefty sum to his parents to buy his loyalty.

He summoned all his courage and triggered the invisible explosive device wrapped around his waist.

So you think you are a very wise woman

you let go  your children to  grow

you never interfered in their matters

you allowed them to fight their own battle

you made them tough and positive

you smile proudly on your achievements

But,

the moment you hear they are sick, suffering

all you want to do to is to hug them, cuddle them

wrap your arms around them

to hide them from all evils

you don’t want them to suffer

you want to be there always to protect them

knowing well

you will not be there forever to look after them

how love makes one weak

Or

it is your strength?

Proceed, my child, proceed,

With a smile on your face,

With positivity and grace,

With compassion in your heart,

Proceed, my child, proceed.

With strength in your mind,

leaving weakness behind,

With stars in your eyes,

Proceed, my child,  proceed.

With progress as your aim,

All the hardship you can tame,

With determination and strength,

Proceed, my child, proceed
