Weekend Writing Prompt #59 – Typewriter
If I had an option, I would have presented every Doctor I went for my treatment, with a typewriter.
They are the lot blessed with the most illegible handwriting, of course after me, but I’m no doctor so no one is compelled to read my writing except my poor teachers.
Nowadays Doctors are using computers but in the prescription sheet, they still oblige us, with the matter god knows who can understand.
The typewriters were the most modern thing for us, in my childhood, which was used in offices only. Or maybe some people who could afford personal typewriter used it. I was ignorant about that.
All my colleagues, in the office I worked, knew how to type with a good speed and that too without even a glance at the keyboard. I found it amazing.
Though I tried really very hard, this one skill I couldn’t master, yet.
