CESSPOOL
One of my greatest fears is
What if
The people get used to the stench
the cesspool of all the vices
is spreading
What if
in their desperation
they start to follow
when you can’t fight them, join them
and start enjoying as much as
the inhabitants of the cesspool
What if
they lose
their confidence
their ethics
and their will to
stand against injustice
and their fight

You are so right. Things start feeling normal after some time, or in some regions. The scale of morality or ethics is tilted.
