Writing 101, Day Five: Be Brief= You discover a letter on a path that affects you deeply. Today, write about this encounter. And your twist? Be as succinct as possible.
A letter to God
A letter, in uneven writing, addressed to Rain God for rain, signed by children of drought stricken village, tied with the kite, fell down on my roof.
I wish I could send it to the addressee.
A profoundly moving and poignant letter that clutches at heart strings. How I wish the rain God had heard their plea.
Beautifully written,Indira

When we hear what is, and recognize what is not, perhaps our own tears of recognition become seeds for rain… Thank you for the opportunity to hear and know with such clarity. xx Meredith
