‘ I was out for 5 minutes and you all raised hell,’ our class teacher scolded us,’ now whoever was shouting stand up on the bench.’
There was a chorus, ‘ it wasn’t me, madam.’
‘Tell truth or get punishment.’
I took the lead,’ sorry madam, it was me.’
As soon as she praised me for honesty, whole class shouted ’it was me madam.’
‘Copy cats, stand up on the bench’, she ordered.
Honesty pays.
