Reena’s Exploration Challenge #Week 44
The format can be a story/poem/rant/anecdotes/journalistic coverage of events/ reflections as usual.
Be straightforward friend
Don’t kill me with your sweetness
Scared of diabetes
———————————
either you are happy
or sad
show it with full expression
suppression helps you not
only brings depression
you can’t live your life
with ideology alone
enjoy every bit of it
but
in moderation

Translation in English
why breeze is so damp, has someone somewhere cried
some never smile even when they get all the comforts of the world
All the comforts at door, can’t make some smile
Has some poor laughed with a little more than expectation
has someone ever cried regretting no seed was ever sown
those who sacrificed girl fetus to get one son
has some mother ever shed tears remembering that girl
has some mother ever shed tears remembering that girl
has sea sometimes cried and longed for them
when the river water could not reach sea ’cause they dried with our negligence
has sea sometimes cried and longed for them
why breeze is so damp, has someone somewhere cried
About Indira
I knew all along that life is about, love, compassion, compatibility and friendship, but now I have discovered that life is also about sharing the thoughts, encouraging others and getting encouraged. So here I am with my blogs about life, friendship, love, and whatever life has taught me.
Some very beautiful lines here… Specially loved the first couplet…

Here’s your translation. I should start charging for this service 🙂
Dampness in the air speaks of tears somewhere
some could never smile, amidst palatial opulence
poverty sheds tears of joy, eating leftovers somewhere
sweating it out all day could not yield a single meal
someone cries all night with a hungry child somewhere
no seeds ever sown, but healthy trees uprooted
global warming brings tears of discomfort somewhere
female foetuses denied life, all to have a male child
a daughter’s love brings tears to a parent’s eye somewhere
unseeded clouds fly, rivulets dry
an ocean cries, awaiting inputs somewhere
sin escapes being counted, arithmetic evaporates
a devil’s laughter interspersed with pain somewhere
I found reasons to sing and dance every day
averting eyes to wash away unseen tears somewhere
Dampness in the air speaks of tears somewhere
