Five Sentence Fiction – Strength
The word does not have to appear in your five sentences, just use it for direction.
This week: STRENGTH
Brainwashed
He entered the biggest shopping mall of the town, looking like the epitome of courage, strength, and vigor but all diverted in the wrong path by his mentors who brainwashed him into believing that all people who were from a different religion and ideology, who indulge in comfort and enjoyment were sinners and he will go to heaven by eliminating as much of them as possible.
He looked around cautiously satisfied himself that no one is taking any notice of him, all were busy in their own entertainment, shopping, and /or loitering around.
At first, he hesitated, this was the life he would have enjoyed but then remembered about his mission, moreover, he could not go back now as death was awaiting him either way.
Sometimes he thought of asking his mentors, why they did not accomplish the mission themselves and go to heaven but who he was to ask when they have paid a hefty sum to his parents to buy his loyalty.
He summoned all his courage and triggered the invisible explosive device wrapped around his waist.
Gawd! Brainwashed by sickos!
