their power

their hold over systems

their confidence that they are above the law

that they can get

away after any crime

common people

terrified

terrorized

running from door to door

for justice

will they get any

or…well, why lose hope

one day truth may come out

FOLLY

The moss-ridden place, complete with a wishing fountain attracted her. Human-like moss structures were watching her. She looked in the water and said’ I wish I could live here forever.’

Suddenly the place came alive with the sound ‘ Welcome to the moss land dear, now you have become one of us.’ Moss structures came near surrounding her.

She panicked ‘ Who are you?’

‘We are idiots like you who make all kinds of weird wishes.’

The moss started growing on her feet.

Screaming with horror she tried to scratch it away but it started growing on her rapidly.

Hoho Returns- End of Horror

My friend Archita  asked “how can we get hoho back to earth now. ” then she gave me a suggestion “Load-shedding after 2 mins ..so She cannot eat the half grilled apple ; she throws it away . Hoho is half burned and half-powered now..He has to stay somewhere in the middle of earth and space and has to scare birds , helicopter , flight passengers to achieve full power once again . . Pepe and Popo are friendless now .. and together they start making a big plan now.. 2nd story starts :)’

HOHO Returns

Hoho, the ghost, was inside the apple, she kept it in the oven and switched it on.

Nothing happened. She remembered it was the power cut time. Cursing the electric dept. she took out the apple to roast it in the gas oven.

Knowing her intentions, Hoho fled like a hurricane, having Pepe and Popo on his tail.

They stopped when they were exhausted. They found themselves in a forest.  Cool, comforting full of trees.

Hoho said ” I am done with this scaring business. I am not going there again. “

Pepe said, ” But we all will be expelled from our community.”

Hoho -” We will form another community, there are others who do not like this terrifying other and making life hard for people. they will join us.”

They all agreed to help people from now onwards.

That is how the angle ghosts and devil ghosts community was formed.

You may have noticed, when you are in distress, without any hope, in some difficult situation, Suddenly, someone out of nowhere comes and helps you. This is Ho’s community. You have to have faith in them and they will help you.

As for the devils, beware of them, sometimes they may come in the disguise of angels, but if you are careful, you can recognize them.

Mission Unsuccessful – Horror again

Today, 16th May is my daughter Soma Mukherjee’s Birthday. She loves ghost tales, so this story is my gift to her.

Happy Birthday, Soma, love, hugs, and blessings.

Mission Unsuccessful

Pepe and Popo were two ghosts, unable to frighten anyone. On the contrary, they were themselves frightened very easily.

There is one rule among ghosts that they have to scare people otherwise they will be expelled. Now, they tried very hard but failed. So they were Expelled.
Feeling very sad they were searching for someplace to hide, lest other ghosts will laugh at them.

Then they found her house, they slipped quietly under her bed. Here they tried to scare her by making her things vanished. But to their disappointment, she scolded her maid and warned her to be careful.

Though they were happy there but missed terribly their community.

They thought of taking help from a little sympathetic ghost Hoho, who has the power to take any form.

He accepted to help them.

He told them if he hides in something thing and it vanishes suddenly before her eyes, she certainly will be scare to death.

Pepe said ” Really? , why not hide in eggs or sausages which she eats in her breakfast.”

Hoho said ” no, no, she will either boil or fry them and you know I’m afraid of fire. Moreover, if we burn us, all our powers will be taken back and we have to leave earth and live in space, where you can’t find anyone to scare.”

Popo said ‘ OK, so you hide in the apple, she daily eats an apple, and when she will go to have a bite vanish with it’, he agreed.

They were very excited. This was the longest night for them. Though night and day are the same for them for they don’t sleep. Hoho hid in the apple, there was only one apple there, he felt happy.

In the morning she got up, brushed her teeth. She searched her fridge for something to eat. She found an apple. She was about to eat, but then suddenly changed her mind.
She kept the apple in the electric grille and switched it on.

She decided to eat a grilled apple with cinnamon and sugar.
